I am looking for an email marketing tool. MailChimp vs Active Campaign?
MailChimp vs ActiveCampaign which one is better? I would like to send emails to my contacts that I will collect through opt-in forms in my WordPress site and then send those to one of the email marketing tools. I was wondering which one would be a better option in terms of pricing, features and reliability.
I have gone through the features of both and it seems like Mailchimp is more creative in terms of email designs and templates but it lacks the automation feature like ActiveCampaign. So, can anyone suggest me, which one would be a wise decision to choose and also if you can suggest any other email marketing or CRM tools than that would be helpful as well.

I would go with ActiveCampaign because of the feature rich automation tool that they have. I have used Mailchimp for a while and it is good but as I need to use the automation feature every now and then, I found that ActiveCampaign has a competitive edge in this case. I have also tried two other email sending services namely – Moosend and Email Octopus but then reverted back to ActiveCampaign as I couldn’t just get comfortable with the feature provided by those tools. So, I would suggest you to try out a few and then settle for one that best suits your usecase.

I would go for ActiveCampaign as I find the automation in ActiveCampaign is more feature rich and also it is quite easy to use.
Mailchimp and Activecampaigns are quite matured and experienced players in the email marketing world. To be honest, it is quite difficult to choose between the two as both of them has a lot of amazing features. We used Mailchimp for a while and then shifted to Activecampaigns for its great automation tool. But recently, we have found another tool called FluentCRM which allows email marketing at a very cheaper price compared to other email marketing software and the fact that it is hosted right onto a WordPress site makes it a game-changing tool.
Both Mailchimp and active campaign are really great email marketing tools, but I personally like Mailchimp because of its great email editor and also the number of integrations that it have with other third-party softwares. Also, its costs less than Active campaign. But, if you are looking to create some advanced automation stuff then active campaign is the way to go.
